Mud Life Crisis
Women ages fortyish to sixtyish can find out how safe and easy mountain biking can be when your among a bunch of your peers instead of holding up the rear. If your an old hand at cycling, but just not the hammer you used to be, you'll have sisters to ride with this Summer, and friends for life. Or you want to try riding off road because your doctor sentenced you to "thirty minutesof daily exercise" this could be your ticket to a new you.
Jacquie Phelan (a.k.a. Alice Toeclips) one of the founders of NORBA and IMBA has won three National Championships.
Jacquie created WOMBATS to offer women a gentle introduction to her favorite sport. She has organized and taught hundreds of women's mountain biking workshops. When not attempting to improve her banjo picking skills, Jacquie writes for various magazines and publications, and continues to promote women's mountain biking all over the world.
