The SYFL places children on teams based on the high school the child is zoned to attend.  A child may only play out of zone if the zoned team is full or a zoning waiver has been granted (written requests for waiver required, please email registration@gosyfl.com for more information).  If you are not sure which high school your child is zoned to attend, you can look it up at http://www.washoe.k12.nv.us/schools/school-zoning-search/zoning-information.

The Sierra Youth Football League offers full contact football through the 8th grade.  Games are played on High School Football Fields.  Our youth participate with their peers based on age, not weight.  All healthy athletes at all levels of ability are encouraged to participate.  There are no try-outs or cuts.  Athletes participate on teams based on the High Schools they are zoned to attend.

Registration Fees:  $175 includes complete practice and game gear (except cleats) and personalized jersey to keep.  Price also includes team and individual memory mate photo, and participation trophy.

Sibling discount - $25 for each additional sibling and all must be registered at same time to receive discount.  If you are signing up a second, or additional children, for Cheer you are still eligible for the Sibling Discount.  Click here to access the Cheer Event Sign Up.

Online Registration closes on May 15th.  Most teams are full by June 1st, so the sooner you can register, the better.
