The Presque Isle Bicycle Time Trial starts at the entrance to Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is a 12.5-mile loop around the park.  The 1^st rider leaves at 8:00 a.m., others follow at 15-second intervals.

Registration:  Please complete the onine registration form.  This event will use timing chips.  The registration fee is $30.00 and includes a Time Trial gift if registered by September 1, 2012.   Late registration fee is $35.00 on or after September 1st.  All registrations must be received on or before September 1st.  Starting times will be mailed on September 2nd.  You must be present the day of the race to receive the Time Trial gift.  Any amount over the registration fee will be a welcomed contribution to the Iroquois School District Foundation, sponsor of the Time Trial.

There is not a rain/snow date.  If the event is canceled due to unsafe, inclement weather, your registration fee is non-refundable.  Riders will receive their Time Trial gift.  All proceeds will be used by the Iroquois School District Foundation and for future Time Trials.

Awards:  Top 3 overall male and female riders.  Top 3 in age groups and number of awards are determined by the number of entries received.  Only one award per contestant except for family and tandem awards.  Male/Female – 10 year age groups after 19 years of age (age groups of 10-14 and 15-19 will receive separate awards): 1 award per 1-5 entrants; 2 awards per 6-9 entrants; 3 awards per 10-30 entrants; 4 awards per 31-50 entrants; 5 awards for over 50 entrants per age group.  Tandem awards – 2 trophies per team (each tandem team member must fill out a registration form, which specifies their tandem partner’s name).  Awards to top 3 families (definition for family category – combined time of father OR mother AND fastest son or daughter under 18 years of age).  One award per family – families will be automatically entered in this category at no additional fee only if each family member’s application is marked with the same family name.  Participation certificates will be awarded for children in the 9-and-under age group.  Awards will not be mailed – please be present at the award ceremony or make arrangements to pick-up awards
